Boys and Trees

What's the old adage about little boys? "Snips and snails and puppy-dogs' tails" is what most people are familiar with, but what makes me wonder is how they missed TREES? I mean seriously, what boy do you know that walks by a tree with a branch that's near anyone's reach, and doesn't try to climb it? Today was a beautiful day, and what better way to spend it than climbing trees...

If only we could overcome our fears as easily as they do when they conquer the initial feat of getting in the tree.

The sense of pride that comes with that rite of passage when you're actually climbing vs. letting your fears overcome you.

I am facing this exact thing in my own life. Not allowing fear to control my life. Stepping out of my comfort zone and taking that first step in climbing those branches!
