Doing The Most

"Child, you're doing the most right now!"

"Girl, she is doing the most."

"STAAPPIIITT! You are seriously doing the most!"

All the above are usually not the context in which we want to hear "doing the most", right? Well, let me just tell y'all...sometimes you can be doing the most with the very least. I'm not the fanciest in all things, just most things. Ya girl is always gonna want a fancier camera, no matter the model she currently has. So when I tell you that I just had THE MOST kind of weekend by doing the least, please believe it was THE BEST!

And this little guy did THE MOST too and is basically considered the least among his camera peers.

See, the kind of weekend I had included a cheap room with a valuable friend, minimal effort put into all things, and THE MOST spirit refreshing done in the best way possible.

After that last little flirt sesh with The Good Lord, I had felt a nudge to step outside my comfort zone and start creating. Stop standing in my own way and make things happen! So, I was determined before we left to challenge myself. So I took that little camera {that could} and create! And I am quite happy with the results.

I love when God comes at me like this, like "Hey! I do it all on purpose!" He has given me friends throughout my life that have served great purposes in different seasons. He creates all the places, experiences, and opportunities. He speaks to each of us in His own way, He knows how to get at us. He may be speaking to you in a way that only you can hear. Just listen! I have a terrible habit of turning the volume up on other things, BUT...

Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us...

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR ME TO HEAR/DO/REMEMBER/LIVE BY? Y'all, He's God, not us! We have to look for Him. Listen for Him. He's there in every single thing...ON PURPOSE!

The moral of the story here, is two-fold I suppose. First & foremost, God is ALWAYS faithful and on purpose! And, second, challenge yourself to do THE MOST. Even if the results don't turn out the way you'd hoped, at least you got out of your own way and gave it a shot!
